New York - Badou Jack (20-1-3, 12 KO's) and James DeGale (23-1-1, 14 KO's) battled to a majority draw inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this past Saturday night. The fight had a bit of everything from both men scoring a knockdown, a referee taking a punch to the face, and it even had James DeGale losing a tooth.

Degale was hitting all gloves on a lot of those flurries. It sounds good when you're hitting all gloves but you really aren't scoring anything. When someone says robbery they're basically saying they think they should have won the fight. The word is overused sometimes.

      I had it as a draw, it's just a shame that Jack won't rematch @ 168Lb!

It's funny all the bloggers have it a draw and all the experts and fighters have Jack winning. Wayyyy b4 this fight was signed Jack had already said he was moving up. He beat Degale down almost stopped him and sent him to the hospital with knots and missing teeth. Real fans know who won. Jack will move on to tougher challenges while Degale keeps getting gifts. He lost his last fight also.

I thought a draw wasn't an outrage but if a winner then Jack.

Robbery is probably the most mis-used and overused word in boxing after "casual". I do think that Jack won, but most of those rounds were decently close. DeGale did a good job of giving the illusion that he was being effective. I think Jack had the much cleaner shots to both the head (see missing tooth) and body work (I believe one shot in particular liften DeGale off his feet). DeGale may have been given the benefit of doubt with those ineffective flurries, but whatever. It's how boxing goes sometimes. I hope a rematch can happen at some point in the future, if not immediately.

              They'll just rob him again.

I have no problem with what FLoyd said. Jack is his fighter and he's going to have his back. Keep in mind its two straight fights that Jack has won the fight and gets screwed. Would people be complaining if it was Arum or Oscar or Duva who said what Floyd said?

Another close fight being called a robbery. People need to see it how Froch sees it. You can feel 1 guy won but it doesn't necessarily mean it was a robbery.
