Totally agree. Davis is 22. A few years from his prime still. He still has a few flaws as well. Pedraza fought a dumb fight, and kind of presented the ideal in fight situation for Davis. He needs to take some optional defenses. He isn't close to being ready for a Lomachenko. Hell, I would keep him away from Walters, and Sosa right now also. He isn't ready for that yet.

I have no problems with the 'no rushing' concept since the kid is only 22, but do NOT hog a title and refuse to fight other champions. That's a big problem with boxing.

But yet no one is talking about throwing in that so called future superstar, Felix Verdejo in with good fighters. Verdejo has been promoted as a star by Top Rank by fighting bums and looking like **** against them. People keep saying he's young and is being brought up right by Arum. Verdejo and Arum didn't even want to make the fight with Pedraza
