I respect jacks boxing skills all he had over degale was the fundamentals but he's always getting in these close fights and feeling entitled needs to do more

i actually do think jack obviously won this fight. i think the fact hes a mayweather fighter means most root against him as is. i actually think he actually had a way more clear win then what most people call a robbery in the ward kov fight. if im jack i dont do a rematch unless they re meet at 175. he truly thinks he won hes had 2 draws in a row where at least one was a disgrace arguably both tho second one i could see arguments for both.

i totally get it if jack has a bad taste in his mouth tho and is just like screw 168 i need a fresh start

He could of stopped Degale in that last round! his punch selection, when he had Degale hurt was kind of poor. Degale was open to short inside uppercuts, when he was weakly attempted to tie up Jack! just goes to show that boxing does not really have any great finishers anymore. Guys like Mike Tyson once they had you really hurt and their is time left in the round? would end the fight. Golovkin is probably the only good finisher, i.e he will choose his shot carefully and not panic when he has his opponent hurt.

Jack clearly won but should have finished Degale off in the last as Degale was gone.Great courage from James but the fans were the real winners.

Jack definitely beat Degale. I would actually put this close to the Kovalev-Ward robbery. It is in that general category. Jack landed more landed cleaner landed harder and was the aggressor. What more is there?

Oh look it's the infamous "his face looks worse than mine so i won" arguement, I'm not opposing how he felt about the verdict, i thought Jack won this fight aswell, it's just not logical to judge fights based on who's face looks the worse. Some fighters just naturally bruise and cut easier than others.

If we scored fights on facial damage, we could all say that Maidana beat Floyd in their first fight. I don't think so, i think Floyd won by a round or two because he shaded the majority of the rounds but Floyd took all the punishment in that one.

I thought DeGale won 6 rounds, much closer than the rounds Jack won but i thought he won the first 3 and nicked 3 later on. I can see a case for Jack winning.

Just saying if we're going by a lot of peoples definitions of why he clearly won, then i think it's not out of the question to think Maidana beat Floyd.

People forget its scored round by round. Jack was the better fighter overall last night but DeGale still shaded 6 rounds i thought.
