So we got Canelo, the 185lbs fighter who keeps draining himself to 155lbs, and we got Ramirez, who has refused to fight since beating a shot Abraham, and we got Marquez, the guy who always claim to get robbed, and we got JCC Jr., who I don't even want to comment on, and we got Golovkin, who is not even Mexican. Where are the mythological Mexican warriors at?
Mexican "warriors"?

I thought Santa Cruz was a multiple Champ. Mares? Cuadras? Estrada? Oscar Valdez? Vargas? Salido?
Showtime & HBO investment... I think these guys are good... ''warriors'' -

Ah, I forgot Leo Santa Lose. Frampton is bad for his record, bro.
Estrada and Cuadras are okay, the rest are journeymen.Comment

The roster of Mexican Warriors might not be what it was in the 90's and early 2000's but I think the "warrior" title embodies more a gusty boxing style than a commentary on matchmaking or career choices. Marquez might cry a river at every defeat, he might be a counter-puncher, but he's still a warrior for his inclination to stand and exchange, engaging in "wars" rather than playing conservative. How many other counter-punchers would chase after Floyd for a whole fight, choosing never to quit? That's a Mexican Warrior's mentality. They go in there to fight.Comment
