It's crazy when you learned something and see someone do it. Foreman never saw the uppercut. That's what made it so effective.

really? I have no agenda here. I saw a guy take an obvious dive. that doesn't make me biased, childish or ******.. you say I got to accept the "truth". what truth is that? that Foreman took a dive and put on a horrible acting job trying to get up? that's the only truth there is here.

^This. And, the fact that it cracked him right on the jaw. When the nerves connected to the jaw get sparked, you can sometimes see this type of "I'm awake but not in control of my body" kind of reaction. The brain hasn't necessarily slammed into the walls of the skull so the mental recovery is quick, but the physical response, the nervous system, hasn't come back online yet, so to speak.

It's foolish for people to think that a guy who is trying to fake it is going to try to make it look like he's faking it. People think he's doing to do such a con****uous, cartoony series of movements rather than a more convincing dive? This doesn't take a lot of thought guys...

I wasn't really addressing you, but rather the fact that some people will be shown the high-quality gif and still argue it was fake (if you fall into that category, so be it).

Also, why would anyone pay such an underdog to take a dive? If you don't think it was paid and that he was looking for a way out, then you're admitting that Lara punished him so bad that he quit, which is a legit TKO win anyhow. None of the arguments for a dive add up.

His attempts to get up did seem a tad theatrical if I'm honest.

It was the kind of shot that takes your legs out even if you don't feel that hurt.

                    Good shot and legitimate KO.
