Why are GGG fans trying to get Spence to fight a bum?

This thread is full of them.

These are the same people that would've been happy with GGG fighting Blanco on Dec 10th rather than wait on GGG vs Jacobs to get made.

They know Spence has fought two eliminators to get his title shot against Brook. They know the only reason he's not fighting Brook is because GGG broke Brook's face. They know Brook asked for and was granted an extension by the IBF. They know all these things but they're complaining about Spence not fighting anyone. Like he has a choice. When you explain these things to them they don't care. Suddenly the opportunity to fight for a belt doesn't matter. Like I've long suspected. They don't care about belts unless it's the middleweight belts. If Spence fought Skeete while waiting on Brook they'd say he's fighting a bum. They already say he hasn't fought anybody but they criticize him for waiting to fight a somebody.

no excuse for spence to have been so inactive and no excuse for his level of competition. Brooks got other, more lucrative options than spence, so spence can get to the back of the queue.

Man to be honest what's happening to Spence is what happened to GGG years ago. The difference is that GGG always looked to be active, while Spence hasn't fought in a while. GGG earned it the hard way. He had to become mandatory for those guys, and they chose to vacate. He won things the hard way. Now he's almost 35.

Spence is really good, he will be ok as long as he keeps working hard.

I understand Brook not fighting Spence from a business perspective, he's virtually unknown outside of the "hardcore" fan. It depends how he values his belt, but really if he can make huge sums of money against Khan and vacate then he will value the money more, just like anybody would and does.

I'm sure Spence would do the same thing if he had a rival that could make him $10m or he can fight a more dangerous mandatory for $1m. It's a no brainer.

It's a shame though but that's business. Brook v Spence would be a way better.

No one outside of a few extremists would fault Brook for picking Khan over Spence but it's either Khan or the IBF belt, he can't have both and honestly does anyone fully believe Khan will fight Brook? They've done this media dance many times in the past and we still have no fight.
