Comments Thread For: Pedraza: Davis is a Mayweather Imitation; I Get to Shut Him Up

Jose Pedraza patiently has been waiting for an opportunity to make Gervonta Davis eat his words. The brash Baltimore boxer clearly has rubbed Pedraza the wrong way during the buildup toward their 12-round fight Saturday night for Pedraza's IBF world featherweight title in Brooklyn. Puerto Rico's Pedraza (22-0, 12 KOs) is a slight favorite over Davis (16-0, 15 KOs), who has built his impressive record against a low level of opposition since he turned pro nearly four years ago.

Lol Pedraza keeps saying this but it doesn't make it true. He's blind if he thinks Davis fights anything like Mayweather. Davis favorite punches looks like it's hooks and uppercuts, and his style of throwing punches reminds me more of Gamboa and Tyson rather than Mayweather.

Pedraza is lucky to escape with the W against Edner Cherry. Davis is a live dog in this fight.

I'm pulling for Pedraza. He boxes Tank up and coasts to a UD.

Only way Davis wins is by ko or multiple knock downs. Sniper is a slick lengthy southpaw, he will box circles around Davis

Even showtime is saying that Davis is a boxer that prefers long distance and beautiful boxing and i was like wtf.

I always like a confident fighter, so Pedraza better back up all the shit he's talked leading up to this fight. Davis is a live dog in this one.
