I don't think so. Canelo hits too hard for Chavez to trade with him. Also, MAB and Morales were fighting for Mexican dominance, especially Morales who hated MAB (not now, back then). There's not that heat between Canelo and Chavez, a great fight needs ebs and flows were both fighters can take each others hardest punchers and want to crush their opponent and don't care about getting hurt in the process. I see Canelo as a more calm headed and less of a warrior than his Mexican counterparts, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Even Gatti Ward can't top the MAB Morales trilogy. That was a special time in boxing. -

They've been trading with each other for a while, pre 2015. Jr. was always trying to get Alvarez to move up to 160 for his WBC strap. Most of the pictures together are from the WBC family picnics in Syria.I don't think so. Canelo hits too hard for Chavez to trade with him. But I agree, they don't hate each other like Morales or Barrera. But, I referenced a Triligy. Morales and Barrera started to heat it after their first bout. All depends on the first bout.Comment
