Which fight inovlving Antonio Tarver do you remember as being exciting? Tarver's fights will always be sort of boring technical matchups because of his style.

Oh yeah and Bernard Hopkins is not exactly a Micky Ward himself in terms of providing excitement. (If that kind of fighitng is your idea of entertaining boxing) which is not neccessarily always the case.

I dunno, I thought both Johnson fights and the first Harding fight were entertaining.

Glen Johnson is one guy who can probably make an exciting fight it with about anybody because of his attacking style, high workrate, power, he's an action fighter.

I didnt see his fight with Harding. I'm just saying general both Hopkins and Tarver are basically chess match type counter punchers, and neither really throw alot of punches.

Agree 100 percent Asian Sensation, and your post above about him going from Champion to having to secure his future and you had details with the bankruptcy thing. That's why I don't get on him, your article was good now maybe you could do an article in the future about this situation mainly because I think the way you explain both sides so to speak would be very insightful to ppl who say fighter's are scared etc.. I think with the right examples and facts an unbiased person like yourself could do a good article giving people insight.

For the record Asian Sensation I didn't actually read your article yet, just the title, and I personally wouldn't expect this to be an action type fight. In other words, my expectations would be too low originally in order to be in a posisition for dissapointment.

Read the article, its good. And Beez, I do plan on doing an article in the near future about people who hate blindly before they look at all the facts. I am one of those guys who used to think that Tarver was trash, until I did a little research. Its amazing what looking through a bunch of documents can do to ones perception of things.

I remember I had a recent short relationship with another website, and just left because I was disgusted by how ****** the people were. They were so biased it was like I was debating with children. The funny part was that the people I was talking to were the bosses there, and they were ****ing idiots. I couldn't believe that people who are in charge of giving the news about the sport of boxing could be so ignorant and ******ed.

Haha I feel you ppl be in high places sometimes and we all wonder why and how. Like why is Kareem abdul Jabur a scout and Mitch Kupchak the G.M. of the Lakers? My point being Jabar is a legend all time leading scorer etc. and Kupchak a role player, but yet he gets the front office position. So it happens to regular ppl as well as famous ppl,and I'll be looking for that article. I agree with the research thing because I don't think Tarver is ducking anybody, I just think he's like any man tryna provide for him and his family to the best of his ability. If you fail to look at the whole picture it's easy to be swayed that he just want's to fight old fighter's,but I think if the biggest money fight's were against young fighters he would fight them.

while i agree Tarver needs named opponents, he could try one in his own division or at least one within one weightclass of his. if Tarver wants the respect he always mentions in the past, why not fight Calzaghe, even Bell at a catch weight. he could fight one of the champions of his own weight class.

Tarver is just out for a check.
