How can we continue to take boxing seriously?

First Khan fights Canelo at 155, then Brook fights GGG at 160.

Then Canelo fights Smith on PPV, Pacquiao fights Vargas on ppv, now Canelo wants to fight Chevez jr. at 164.5 meanwhile Chavez has had difficulties even getting down to 168, however Canelo wouldnt fight GGG at 160.

Cotto is fighting Kirkland at a catch weight, Pacquiao is now fighting Jeff Horn.

Boxing really is becoming a pathetic circus. I will not buy another PPV for a while.

They told us Floyd was the problem with boxing. Once he left the best were gonna fight the best. Oscar even said that in his letter to Playboy. The media told us Floyd was the reason the sport was so bad.....I don't remember it ever being as bad as this.

Canelo/GGG, Ward/Kovalev 2, Pac/Garcia or Thurman, Crawford/Broner, Khan/Brooks, Any combination of AJ, Fury, Wilder, and Wlad...

There are a LOT of potential fights on the horizon worth the price of admission. Boxing has always been a circus, dream fights have remained fantasies because it's a complicated and messy sport to bring together, so don't act like anything has happened lately that hasn't been around for a century. Boxing is as it's always been, and as always, there are more fights to be made that would bring everyone back to the well again.

World Boxing Video Archive is my PPV source. I haven't paid for a PPV event since 2009. Happy days.
