So for those of you who watched today, Dana White went on The Herd this morning to discuss Floyd's claim from First Take that he offered the McGregor fight with $100m to Floyd and $15m to Conor. Dana claimed this morning that he has received absolutely zero official offers from anyone inside of Mayweather's camp - going so far as to say he's not even sure who he would talk to if he WANTED to make the fight happen. Dana then dismissed Floyd's demand for $100m, stating his last PPV did terrible and people are still disappointed from the Manny fight, where as McGregor has had back to back PPVs for the UFC that did over a million buys each.
Dana then officially offered Floyd and Conor $25m each, and said they could negotiate back end from that starting place. However when he did that, he promised to fill the rest of the card with a UFC Title fight, and other UFC fights that would interest people. So it sounds like Dana wants this to be an MMA event with a boxing headline attraction - something I can't imagine the folks over at Mayweather Promotions would even consider for a second. Also, I have a hard time believing that Floyd would even consider a 50/50 split, regardless of if the rest of the card was every single big name UFC star they had.
Once again, it seems like both sides are making insulting offers to the other as a way of saving face and saying "hey we tried!" - knowing full well that the offer would be rejected outright. I just can't understand how anyone still thinks this fight will ever happen...

He better offer it to Pacquiao. He'd jump on that fast. Floyd could make double that fighting Joe Horn or whatever the guy's name that Pacquiao is about to fight
