Are Lara, Trout, and Cotto better than Jacobs?

Lara and Cotto are better opponents at their weight than Jacobs.

Don't know about Trout. Trout has faded at JMW and that has tarnished Canelo's win a bit. I think Jacobs is a better opponent than Trout.

Jacobs is clearly not an A level fighter, but he's a solid B or B-. He's champion caliber since there are 4+ belts in every division lmfao

People are over estimating boxing fans, and in particular, Mexican boxing fans interest in this fight. I had friends who are casual fans at most tell me this fight is pointless.

Like it or not, Jr defeated 3 out of 4 top middleweights at that time, only loosing to Martinez, and being ranked as high as number 4 in the ring middleweight p4p. You can say what you want but you can't rewrite history. He might not be the best inside fighter in boxing, but to dismiss his skill set is pretty childish.

I didn't disagree, just pointed out that it was said he was too small to fight a full size middleweight, but he's big enough to fight a larger super middleweight. If you seen my other posts, when the Khan fight was announced, I predicted that Canelo wouldn't fight GGG 'till 2018 at the earliest. However I actually like the Chavez Jr fight, I think both fighters fit eachother pretty well and could make for a fight of the year candidate. If Canelo defeats Jr, next will be Saunders, if he still has the title. If Jacobs defeats GGG, Canelo fights Jacobs in May of 2018, if GGG wins, Canelo fights him in September of 2018.
