It's obviously not easy, but Alvarez has shown the world, not all that long ago, that he can still comfortably make 154lbs and fight, without issue.

Chavez Jr is a money fight and Alvarez, a fighter that you know can make 154lbs, offered up a weight to where the fight can be made, with the financial package coming with that.

Golovkin is 35 years old yet, in his entire career, he's yet to give up a single concession in the name of trying to make the big fight.

So you are Saying Chavez is a better challenge that Jacobs? Was Khan a better Challenge than Brook? Jacobs fight is similar to Lara, Trout fight vs Canelo. Lemiux vs GGG was a good fight on paper, but GGG is just to good.

Alvarez made him the offer, Golovkin balked, and now, depending on how the fight is received by the public, there's an open likelihood that Alvarez-ChavezJr 2 and Alvarez-Cotto 2 would have far more public clamor to them than the Golovkin fight.

Alvarez is all of 26 years old; he's not going anywhere and there's no time rush for him to fight Golovkin either, lol

Took GGG's easy cookies. GGG wanted to fight this bum Chavez but now Canelo snatched him as a power move and will use the good number further at the negotiation table. Sign the contract Golovkin before Jacobs beats you cause it'll only get lower or completely wiped out and offered to Jacobs.
