yeah golovkin would be silly to take deliberate punches like he does in many of his fights. He needs to focus on winning the fight instead of pure entertainment or he could end up getting hurt.

It will be a little different actually because Jacobs has a 3 inch longer reach than Lemieux and GGG. GGG will have to get inside more to have success. Style wise this match-up is all wrong for GGG in many ways. But, I still pick GGG because he's the best or second best fighter in the world, who has the talent to overcome even the most difficult styles.

But don't get it twisted, having a speed disadvantage AND and a reach disadvantage AND a height disadvantage ALL against someone who can use those advantages to deliver devastating POWER COMBINATIONS on your way inside is an extremely tricky situation to be in. What advantage are you supposed to use to win the fight when your opponent is taller faster longer and the only thing preventing him from being more powerful too is that you are the most powerful, otherwise he has enough power to even put power on his list of advantages against almost anyone else?

This is a guy with height, length, speed, and power ALL at the elite levels of the division, and his big chin deficiency is that he's only been knocked down 3 times his whole career, twice when he had cancer and his mother had just passed away, and once rushing in after he'd hurt his opponent, and he's NEVER been kept on the floor for more than five seconds except when the ref held him down.

So this is a good match-up. I still think Jacobs will get hurt by GGG the first time GGG lands clean, because GGG is that good, and Jacobs has an average chin not a good one, that much is true. GGG has the footwork, timing, angles, combinations, power, and chin to beat all the best guys around his division so long as he's in his prime. But Jacobs has elite athletic tools in every category, so this is an excellent challenge for GGG.

Sanchez is a smart dude. I share the exact same thoughts as he does in regards to Jacob's Pirog fight and that GGG allows fighters to tag him who he feels are not a threat. He will not do the same against Jacobs. I predict a more cautious, pick a part type of game plan for GGG against Jacobs. Similar to that when he fought Lemieux.

I like that Sanchez also acknowledged Jacob's KO%. It's overlooked yet it's identical to GGG.

Will be exciting while it lasts don't understand why people think Jacobs cant hurt and or KO GGgee, I got geeGgee but both fighters are capable of ending it, Jacobs is a sucker for a right hook , Ggeegee is a sucker for an uppercut and a few other punches. may the best man win.

and finally someone says what ive been saying, the ref held Jacobs down when he tried to get up vs Pirog, he might have lost anyways but I didn't agree with that stoppage.
