He is smaller than Canelo in the ring but he's never had a serious reason to make 154.

Floyd fight never even came close to happening and Canelo's "155" BS was just a ******ed stalling tactic.

In an era of clowns and catchweights Golovkin has been one guy who just stays put and barely cuts weight.

I'm not even sure Canelo deserves the GGG fight at this point. It used to be an obvious fight since they're so close in size and both had mw belts but Canelo is kind of a joke/freakshow now and wouldn't add much to Golovkin's resume.

You are right, why 155?? Ggg is the mw champ and canelo is a jmw champ, the fair thing to do is to meet in the middle 157, but guess what, ggg refused to negotiate 1 lb, he said 160 or no fight, so the fight will be happening at 160 if ggg accepts the 15 mill..
Ggg wouldnt even concede weight vs a welter, dont expect him to sacrifice 1 lb vs a jmw.
