Obviously Stevenson prefers to fight Ward. Less dangerous. Worst case scenario he will be hugged to UD loss. With Kovalev it could get pretty painful a-la Pascal.

it was obviously that kovalev did the same to stevenson when he elected to re-sign with hbo instead of going to the purse bid...he fought much less dangerous pascall..not once but twice...so yea keep your bs consistent or get off it

didn't Stevenson bail out on a agreed upon fight with Kov on HBO to sign with Haymon and Showtime first...where he is protected and babied ala Berto. That's why he will never sniff p4p consideration!!

he didnt bail..his contract with hbo is up..he gave him his number and haymon and michel even tried to help hbo pay the number but hbo refused...showtime gave the number and he signed on to figth bhop for more than 1 belt..
bhop then ran to hbo to get canelo and golden boy back on that network and away from haymon...

u're leaving out context and the real issue...hbo was counting showtime's pockets so they lowballed stevenson...and hopkins actually ran from the bigger fight

in all honesty pascal has the best case of being ducked..but wat has pascal done except take breaks and fight 168lbers at 175...
stevenson sent him an offer and stevenson was the A side in the offer and pascal didnt like it and started media negotitioning

now i say this pascal is a huge name in canada so he might have been right to want more money..but i cant wait for the day s where lineage means more than names bc im tired of the boxing circus being more imporant than the competition.
