am I a matchmaker for Floyd? I'd like to pick Terrence Crawford cause I've never seen Floyd fight a guy like that, and I think it would be a passing of the torch kind of moment, but if I'm with Floyd then maybe Adrien Broner or even of lesser caliber. I don't see how a guy retires on Berto and comes back against a much better guy. #50 would be the promotion, not the guy he's fighting.

I love how everybody is mentioning top welterweights, as if Floyd will come back to a hard fight. Think guys like Porter or Algieri, decent fighters with losses that Floyd can dodge for 12 rounds.

@ 147 Keith Thurman if he gets past Garcia would have Shawn Porter, who is solid, and Garcia as his biggest scalps. I like the building blocks he's put together so far, and I noticed Keith Thurman has been calling out Floyd for some time now, and in his interviews doesn't bow down. Garcia, eh, that's cool too, but they too respectful, and when Garcia's camp claimed they wasn't ready, Keith Thurman was calling Floyd out, and Floyd really hasn't responded. I like that.

I think its obvious with Floyd hitting the media hard, that he's campaigning for a fight...

                  ..last but not least

                  Conor Mcgregor.

who you going with? make the pick based on personal preference not strictly PPV numbers. and explain why.

out of the three rematches possible, I'll prefer Miguel Cotto since he gave Floyd a better fight than Canelo and Manny combined.

out of the guys at 154 I would love to see a chess match against Lara.

between everybody else at 147, the winner of Garcia/Thurman makes sense. Floyd has a habit of facing guys coming off their biggest wins (Ortiz, Guerrero, Mosley, Maidana). and whoever wins this will be the best win of their career.
Floyd's not coming back; get over it.

The man will be 40 years old in February, would've already been out of the gym for 17 months by his birthday, has openly talked about his body having long been broken down, and is openly talking about only even ever pondering a fight if someone would guarantee him $100m for even heading into a camp.

Conor McGregor has already shown that his straight-up boxing skill isn't even at top prospect level, but the UFC isn't going to risk their only bankable draw on a 1:5 split of the rumored downside money.
