Kell v Khan has lost it's sell by date , Khan having been so brutally knocked out again last time out needs a confidence builder or two against really light hitters then step up and see where his chin leaves him from there.

Kell should concentrate on keeping his welterweight title and fight the very best available which happens to be his no. 1....if he should fail against Spence (I go for Kell) he would be some where down at Khan's level and should then consider that match up.

He is young. Younger boxers have an amazing stamina compared to older boxers. I hope he fights 3x this year against some quality oppositions.

That's why you don't see Floyd and Pacquiao fight the best young boxers in their division because it's a high risk for them.

No it's not. If you get KTFO by a bigger guy who is a unified champ of his division after giving a good account of yourself, then nobody holds it against you, hell, they might even praise you despite getting KTFO.

However, perform exactly the same against a prospect in your own division, well....that could be the end of your career as we know it.

So yes, it's not an absurd statement for fans to make, at least not for the reason's yawl are giving.

The only thing that can make it sound absurd is the fact that Brook called out Golovkin BEFORE Spence became his mandatory, if I recall, he called Golovkin out right after it was announced that Khan has signed to fight Canelita.

Why does Hearn always bring this up when talking about Spence? Spence has said nothing about money. He's said he's willing to travel to fight Brook. What's the point of this?

I understand why. Because Khan is an easier fight. Let's not act like Kell has always sought to fight the best. He's been more than content fighting mando's of the week. He's pulled out of a lot of competitive fights. So don't act like criticism of Brook is unfounded.

Another thing about this. They weren't looking for an extension to fight Khan. I'd Khan would've said April they would've fought him in April. He could day tomorrow and they'd fight him tomorrow
