Apparently not. Canelos last fight doubled Lemieux but Jacobs will do a lot better. Could well outsell Canelos next ppv, unless its Chavez. That's leverage for jccjr

And how is jacobs a sure thing to do better? Jacobs might actually be a worse draw. Lemieux at least can fill arenas back in canada. I didn't say GGG was bigger than Canelo but it's gonna be a bad look if Canelo fights Bjs or Kanat Islam and gets outsold by GGGs next ppv.

Neither is a draw but Jacobs is an easier sell, and GGG became better known via Canelos infamous forfeit, that Hearn calls probably the worst duck of all time

how is Jacobs a better sell? Lemiuex actually held a REAL belt and not just a Jr version of a real belt. So you could sell it as a unification fight which you can't do with Jacobs. Both get KO's so it's not like Jacobs is exciting but Lemiuex is boring. And if GGG is so much better known then why did his fight with Brook this year draw fewer HBO viewers then his fight the year before against Martin Murray? His worst HBO ratings in years and can't use the time of day excuse because Martin Murray was an overseas early broadcast in the US fight as well. There is NOTHING to suggest GGG is a bigger PPV draw from over a year ago.

I had low expectations for Lemieux and higher for Jacobs. Loeffler seems to have a good idea since hes committing 2x in purses for Jacobs

There is, look at all the forum traffic, look at the purse outlays and ticket prices for Jacobs vs Lemieux. Jacobs is obviously more sellable being American with the touching back story. We'll see soon enough

It won't and your the only person even suggesting it can. GGG's biggest fight drew half of Canelo's worse PPV against a pure unknown fighter who never fought on US soil, never fought on US or Mexican TV and still it doubled up GGG and set attendance records at Cowboy Stadium with over 50,000. Meanwhile GGG's last fight in the States struggled to fill up the Forum which holds only 16,000.

Dude isn't a big draw flopped on Showtime and nobody cared enough about his story last year why you think they will a year later full of inactivity and now you charging 70 bucks to order the fight on PPV?

Chavez team knows Canelo needs this fight. If he fights Suanders and those numbers shrink again--and we don't even know for sure what his fights been doing, like his weight, they don't give official fight night numbers.
