      It was a close fight that most people thought Kov won. Why is it wrong of Floyd to share that opinion? Blacks have to always side with other black fighters or else they are salty or uncle tom's?

      A black person being unbiased and calling fights how he sees them is considered as "hate", "uncle tom" or "saltyness" if he scored the fight for a white fighter over a black fighter

      Floyd made valid points. Discuss them instead of bringing race into the discussion please

        "Decent sample"

        Just wondering man;
        Do you really think most people thought Ward won?

          I don't care what most people think. The judges thought Ward won, and I did as well, and the case for Ward winning the fight makes sense. This is no different that Mayweather-Castillo I. People will whine, and then nothing will change. Ward won a very close, very hard to score fight, and there's nothing anybody can do about it but accept it. The amount of crying done over this fight is ridiculous.

              And I can tell you about how the Raiders got robbed in 2003 when the Patriots fumbled the ball, but it's not going to change anything no matter how much I would like that. There were die hard Mayweather fans who said Castillo beat him the first time around, but guess who's still undefeated? If you're not willing to admit that the fight was difficult to score, and could have truly went either way, I don't even want to talk boxing with you. Trying to discredit Ward isn't going to take his W away. He beat Kovalev. Time to let it go.

                The judges thought Ward won, yes, but they can be WRONG or PAID, or BOTH.

                Do you think it's not a bit fishy that a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT between an american and a russian has 3 american judges?

                Is that fair or unbiased?

                Ward got beaten, that's a fact on the tape.

                But you can make a case of Ward winning with pot shot jabs and boddy slapping, I'm not...

                  Team sports are different. The team goes on long after the current roster rerired. Boxing careers are much shorter, and if you're a memorable fighter with some legacy, controversies get remembered for a long time. Hagler Leonard, Chavez Whitaker, Oscar Tito... Even Floyd Castillo but that was a speed bump for Floyd, not his career best scalp. And he made sure to set it straight asap. If he'd retired to avoid Castillo's rematch clause, then neither the controversy nor Floyd himself would be remembered

                    No I don't, for the same reasons that I don't believe that Castillo beat Mayweather in their first battle. Fights are scored 3 minutes at a time, and I felt that Ward had enough 3 minute frames to take the fight. Like I said if you can't at the very least admit that this was a fight that was hard to score, and could have gone either way, then I'll say agree to disagree and leave you to your opinion.
