By landing more punches than Canelo he wasn't being active enough? The whole objective of outboxing is to make your opponent look like a fool. And Canelo was looking like a fool.

It was a hard fight to score and an awful fight. If Lara did lose, then i think he lost it himself rather than Canelo deserving the win, if that makes sense.

Agree with all this. I thought Lara should've won on points, but he just didn't do enough to win convincingly. No robbery. It was just a close fight. Lara needed to go into the fire a little bit more, something he was clearly unwilling to do. It cost him the fight. Who knows? Maybe he would've lost by KO if he went that route.

Current version of Canelo destroys Lara.

From the 4th round on, Canelo was killing his body.

Lara was landing some nice shots throughout, but not enough. Canelo won that fight.

That was a prime Lara and a younger, lesser Canelo.

Alright guys. My main point is that Canelo always has at least 1 biased judge on his side. Will this be the case throughout his career?

It was not a robbery..it was a close fight..how can a close fight be a robbery?

Lets look at compubox..smh (since thats what you seem to be going by)

Lara was landing jabs while Canelo was landing power shots and Lara still only outlanded him 7 rounds with 2 even..and in those rounds its not like he was dominating he was outlanding Canelo by 1 or 2 shots and those were jabs

He landed around 10 more punches

Mayweather the guy that actually made him look like a fool landed 100+ punches

I don't see how anyone can call that a robbery. Lara didn't do nearly enough to win that fight. Had he let his hands go more, he probably would've won. 7-5 Canelo
