Broner is a good fighter but lacks the IT factor it takes to be great, in amatures he Lost big fights as well, this is well known in the underground boxing world.

he has never been convicted of a felony so how can he be a felon??? Lay off the crack or meth its not good for your brain...... He is a 4 time world champion in 4 weight classes coming off 2 wins...... You need to get back to washing car windows before your boss fires you and you end up at the homeless shelter....

if he fought in america he would never have won any belt....

His skillset is a bit too narrow. He reminds me of Khan a bit. Broner's fast and accurate and throws some beautiful combinations when he gets going. But he's lacking a lot of other things.

Like Khan he has poor instincts in the pocket. I don't know how many times Maidana suckered him into dropping his guard for the body jab-come-left hook. He doesn't anticipate shots well and it makes him freeze up when the opponent is throwing. His upper body is stiff and his feet are heavy too. It's a big problem against the better level of opponents. Porter and Maidana are both a bit crude, but Broner really didn't know how to handle them despite his offensive skills.

I honestly think Broner should be playing to his strengths, and his strengths are all in his offence. But maybe that requires a bigger gas tank than the one he has.

The bolded part pretty much nails it with Broner. The guy has the skill set to be an offensive juggernaught, but he is either unwilling or unable to.
