  • Comments Thread For: Mayweather: Proud Of Broner, He'll Come Back Better Than Ever

Adrien Broner's future in and out of the ring seemed uncertain when he left his native Cincinnati to visit Floyd Mayweather Jr. in October. Personal problems plagued Broner then, but Mayweather was optimistic Tuesday that the four-division champion he has mentored is poised to make an emphatic comeback from what was widely viewed as a suicide scare because Broner posted alarming messages on social media. Mayweather was in Cincinnati, where he helped promote Broner's February 18 fight against Adrian Granados at Xavier University's Cintas Center (Showtime).

I see Adrien Broner getting a gift decision here. Then he'll likely go on and take the IBF, IBO and WBA titles off Ricky Burns. And we won't hear the end of it.

Someone in Floyd's entourage needs to quit yes manning & tell him to put on a suit for press conferences ffs. Floyd's always looking like the guy who last minute decided to get some Taco Bell after going to Walmart to pick up a air conditioner at pressers. He needs to take on a more professional appearance in his promoter role.

I wouldn't say he's wholly average, certainly past his prime. I just don't know enough about this Julius Indongo, expect Ricky to get the decision in his hometown.

Broner is a blight on society and belongs behind bars in cage

Munchkin felon mishap Broner is a waste of air and should be behind bars in a cage on display for all to see and feel safe. Broner isa waste of good air and deserves nothing from life but hate and scorn. Broner had no upbringing and is a disrespectful midget disruptive urchin unfit for society.

PAST PRIME OR NOT....in his prime he was nothing special...good fighter....not a world beater and never beat any elite lightweights or 140 guys decisively.

broner has never gotten a gift decision..... So stop spreading your sad imaginary tales...... Ricky burns the biggest bum in boxing is the one who has gotten multiple robberies aka gifts courtesy of crooked judges on matchrooms payroll....
