Yeah, but it's a division with no Golovkin (or Jacobs for that matter). Whoever wins this fight is The Man @168, as slightly depressing as that is.

You mean like the way DeGeale robbed his last opponent?

I feel Degale will outclass Jack but was thinking the other day that he might need a KO to secure victory. That's just the way the SPORT of boxing is, unfortunately. I could see DeGale winning the majority of rounds and dropping Jack along the way only to lose outright or a draw call to save face for Jack. Going for the KO will be his best bet, I know Jack's chin was checked a few years back but since then, I can't recall him getting dropped so you never know.

I've always praised Ward for fighting good opposition, especially at SMW, but he got a gift against Kovalev, no doubt about it.

I'm not exactly upset by it as i'm not really a Kovalev fan. I just believe it's bad for the sport when two of the best rarely fight each other and then when they do, it's ruined by a robbery.

That Medina guy? I missed that fight but according to boxrec, the scores were wide for DeGale and it was a UD. Was the fight that close? I'll need to check it out.

I thought Degale won but the scores were much wider than they should have been.

Degale, as always, fought down to the level of his opponent.

its not going to do anything bad for the sport. why do idiots keep saying that? how many bad decisions have occurred throughout history? and people keep watching. no one is going to stop watching for a bad decision. first you guys blame fighters for being boring, than bad decisions, then duckings.

you all will never be happy. fighters DO NOT CARE about pleasing any of you. they fight for money. if prolonging a fight for over 2 years makes a fighter 5 million more, they will do it. they dont care about you guys whining. how many people bouguth the may pac fight even after everyone said they were over it and dont care about seeing it. yet all vegas hotels sold out in one night and fight made millions.

you guys are morons. what ruins the sport is ****** idiots like the pac-tards or you whiny ass fans.

you guys think canelo gives a **** if his fans turn on him? no LOL, becuase they will still tune in to see him lose. guess what, he still gets paid ROFL. you think mayweather gave a **** if you all say he is boring? no ROFL, look at everything he has made. fighters dont care about any of you fans, wish you morons understood that.

you think ward cares if you all say he lost? no, he has 3 titles and still undefeated rofl.

I agree that Degale is not that good either.

But I think Jack is really limited.

Its a decent match-up but Jack has the 'TMT edge' and Degale is (slightly) more skilled.

The SMW division is a bit crappy ATM.

Definitely closer than the scores. DeGeale was busted up in that fight. DeGeale is a very skilled fighter that can switch stances naturally. But the one thing Medina did well was cut the ring off, and it made it look as if Medina was forcing DeGeale to switch. I'll say that the fight was close. But the anti Haymon crowd were here on NSB pushing the robbery angle immediately after.
