Wilder may have the weakest resume of any current world title holder, and that's really saying something.

Wilder and Joshua can actually fight one another though, and they won't tag team the division with one taking out guys that don't suit the other.

If Wlad and Vitali could have fought it would have made the division a whole lot more interesting over that time frame~

Another thing......same people riding Wilder's nuts are calling GGG overrated/over-hyped. Golovkin has done more and is better skilled than Wilder by far.

Well as much as I want to pull for WilderI'm not sure he can clean house on the heavyweight division, I think he has more skill and power than Parker or any of the Furys though. Klitchko Has the ring experience and skills to beat him but age and speed will be a factor, Joshua, on the other hand, has the power, skill, (and most importantly, speed) to beat him but we won't know unless that matchup materializes.

.........And I don't know why folks are trashing Wilder's resume when it is Joshua and Parker who have fought the weakest opposition.

                  Steps to Wilder domination

[X] Povetkin gets busted for juicing

                  [X] Wilder's right hand heals

[_] Joshua and Wladimir wreck each other over 12 hard rounds. Joshua wins a split decision but is dropped hard mid rounds and is never the same again.

[_] Wilder destroys overrated Tua-wannabe Joseph Parker.

[_] Fat man Tyson Fury returns but appears to have lost a step in his game. Gets baptized by The Bronze Bomber.

You can not compare Deontay Wilders run given .a) hes only been champion since 2015 .b) and injured for a good portion of it...in total we are talking about less than two years as active champion ; In contrast Golovkin has been champion since 2010 and has had multiple opportunities to make fights and refused to make concessions or move up or down in weight to make fights but Deontay has done what he could ; the fiasco with Pedvetkin in anyway is not his fault.

Obvious attempt to take a shot at the REAL HW champion of the world : Deontay has beat Stiverne who was #6 in the world for the WBC HW title, Malik Scott was top ten, Duahuaps reached top ten after his loss ; Molina went on to beat Tomaz Adamek and once again challenge for a world title ( IBF ) with Juiceua.

Will come down to the type of influence Duco Events has in the relationship with Top Rank, tbh; Arum wants literally nothing to do with title unification fights, while Duco is still having their eyes set on possibly fighting Anthony Joshua (and not really having to deal with that WBO mandatory just yet).

Because Hughie Fury, WBO mandatory challenger, is the fight that's due next; at 6'6, 230lbs and near no profile in the UK (or outside of the UK, tbh), Duco Events has a decision to make.

If the April fights line up (Wilder-Parker and Joshua-Klitschko), you can then run the two mandatory defenses come the summer (Joshua faces the WBA mandatory, while Wilder, with the WBC mandatory still in flux, faces the WBO mandatory), before closing out the year (not sure if a Christmas fight works, but that's be interesting).
