I've seen this kid at Nationals and the World Championships. I know he has victories over guys like Nikita Ababiy, who was the #1 USA at Middleweight.
Powell didn't perform as good in the World Championships as he did at Nationals. I was wondering if it was because of weight since a few months before, over the summer, the World Championships he fought at Middleweight (165lbs). He's turning pro at 154 but you can afford to do that as a pro.
Powell was basically the #1 at both Welterweight and Middleweight as a Youth for the USA.

Only time will tell how good he will become.
