Broner is pretty funny and entertaining but he won't be a star.

he should of been the next big thing but too much of trying to be a rapper along with too much partying overwhelmed his career. He once had very good boxing skills and rinhg iq,it will be interesting to see if he can get his mojo back!!

to be fair to broner he's entertaining inside and outside the ring, but he's not a big enough star for this to be true.

all his fights average around a million viewers... So he is a star for sure..... He gave spike tv their highest rated show in the channels history..... And showtime some of their highest rated fights.... Thats why networks love him...... He is also a 4 time world champion in 4 weight classes coming off 2 wins..... Lets not forget the facts

i think the sport could use a charismatic, polarizing, cross over american star to help bring casual fans. Broner could have been this if he worked on his craft instead of doing the things he did outside the ring.

And that's precisely why he irks me so ****ing much.

He has all the talent in the world, and could be so much more if he just decided to dedicate himself to the sport and only the sport for like 10 years. Heck, he's 28 this year, so just 5 years of year round training, no days off, 3 to 4 fights per year. Hell, if I was him, I'd even try get Floyd Sr to train him, just to improve his defense. He hasn't got the same defensive instincts as Jr, but still.

So he spends his peak years (28-33) serious and dedicated to the sport, fighting the best, fighting champions. In my opinion, he has the potential to have a HOF career, just from those 5 years.

But nah, the chances of him doing that are slim to none.

I agree Adrien Broner is a polarizing figure in boxing he generates alot interest when he does fight because people hate him so much. His post fight interviews are interesting because you never know what he's gonna say lol And he can sell a fight which is key... For all the idiotic comments, legal trouble and antics he does sparks interest in the sport while other fighters bore you to sleep with dull personalities. I don't agree with allot of the things he's done but win or lose I like watching him fight to see what happens.
