You'd have to be a fool to think Ward suppased GGG as a draw. Even his fight with Kov had empty seats.

The irony here is this list actually changed more to do with guys like Jacobs pushing the fight back rather than Ward earning potential.

Roc isn't exactly doing great numbers here.

Begging Ward. That's funny. Roc nation loses money left and right to overpay him and its now Ward begging for money.

They released on in September too.

It's just an updated list that is now misinforming a legion of Ward fans wishing to God someone would like him.

Misinformed because fans are now using it to say who is the biggest money makers, when in reality it shouldn't have broke it down per fight.

A guy who fights three times at two mill is gonna make the same as a guy who fights twice at 3m.

The 3m guy still makes more per fight.

it is truly terrible that Ward had a successful year

      isn't it ?

Why is it suddenly some fans are making a deal because it was updated to reflect a fighter who just so happened to have an extra fight.

Not only that, the author of the original article doesn't even understand what he's doing.

The list should reflect what a fighter made per fight if it were going to be used as some kind of popularity benchmark.

It just goes to show the desperation of Ward fans for some good news.

          why is it.....

that you have lost your mind over something so trivial ?

How does it feel being played and bamboozled by a pathological liar?
He's comparing it to Bradley fight in order to give HBO a middle finger since they refused to put the Vargas fight on PPV. That's the whole point of saying "about the same" in that article.

And why are you patting yourself on the back? I don't know the PPV numbers, and neither do you. My point was that you don't believe a very public $20M guarantee for Pac because Arum would lose money. I linked the ESPN article to show you that he Arum admits that the event did poorly and he lost money.
Even if we assume that both events made the same amount of money for argument's sake, and one made money while the other lost money, it points to a big purse discrepancy.

Further proof: Bradley fight did terrible and lost money while getting 300-500k buys, but Vargas fight
needed to do about 180,000 pay-per-view buys to break even.
Pac had a $20M guarantee for that fight, and no matter which way you look at it, he's both a bigger draw and a bigger earner than the #5 spot puts him.

This list is bad but people's tireless debates about the exact amount of money boxer's have made in previous fights is even worse

If they're measuring money made in 16, then Pac is a clear #2 since he made 20m+ for Bradley.

If they're measuring moneymakers going forward, putting Ward at #2 is ROFL worthy.

Either way, it's a bad list.
Not a bad list, just say you don't understand how Forbes does it's calculation..

You point out that Pac made 20 million for Bradley; you and Pac are the only ones who believes that number.
