You should rewatch that knockout. Maybe from a different angle if you can. Jacobs was unconscious on the way down. He woke up when he hit the ground. The ref made the absolute right call.

I have no doubt that he may have been hurt on the way down, but he has real good recuperating ability I think then. Look at the way he's about to spring back up at I think it was the count of 7 or 8. His eyes and speech were perfect and he looked honestly like he could get up. He just went down so bad and looked immediately gone that the ref I guess was like, I'm done at 8 with this guy.
