I think Ken made a good point about Golovkin's boxing skills, so much have been made about his power that they forget that he can box well too..

Most of the guys who fight him don't say much about his power, what they talk about is his precision. Have seen interviews with Rosado, Macklin, and Lemieux where they've said that.

True.. In Macklin's interview he shows how Golovkin closes the gap all of a sudden & applies pressure by constantly being in front of you.. I think guys who have faced him say that he has like thudding power but not the strongest puncher they have been with but its the precision of the punches & the accumulation that eventually wears them down..

That's the thing. People think GGG is just this brutal power puncher. Well he is, but he's so much more that we forget about. He had a great amateur career and could box if he needs to. Call it a back up plan if you will, but he just hasn't had to because he blows everyone out of the water

If Canelo ever had the balls to really face him while he's not an old man, GGG can do it all. It's up to him to decide. He can **** with Canelo if Canelo truly wants to try that, and if Canelo tries to apply some boxing against GGG, GGG knows how to handle himself and could easily outbox Canelo or just cut off the ring and get closer to land his power punches.

I can't see Canelo beating GGG if any style matchup. Power vs power or boxing vs boxing.

There was a video on YouTube where Murray broke down how GGG applies his pressure, it was a really good break down I wish I could find it.

The worst thing that canelo or jacobs can do is try to outbox ggg. You can't outbox him. Not possible.

I actually saw it on sky sports, not able to find the video now there..

Instead I found this video from the Legend himself(Paulie)

Kell Brook will share the ring with Gennady Golovkin this Saturday night and we asked former opponents to reveal their own experiences of facing GGG.
