I think he needs to be at least 176 to compete in 168 and close to 184 to compete in 175.

Nothing new here. They have always said after they unify they could go to 168 or for a big fight. Moving up to 168 now is career suicide. It took him 4 years to almost clean out 160. He'd be 40 trying to unify 168 with the same issue he's had at 160.

sparring partners say he punches like a LHW already. I don't see any big fights at 168 at the moment, it's just as dry as 160. .Canelo snatched up Chavez Jr, the only guy with name recognition there.
