In the case of Boone he is like Randall Bailey in a way he has knockout power but he looses most of his fights and he fights mostly 4-6-8 rd bouts on short notice. So his ko % is a little bit skewed.

That kind of blows your statement that top middleweights have weaker chins than other weight classes all to hell.

Tyson Fury was knocked down by the much smaller Steve Cunningham.

I said current top 5 fighter in the division. Fighters get dropped and struggle all the time when they're new, Wilder, Ward, Stevenson, Kovalev, etc. weren't anywhere near top 5 of the division let alone top 50 when they were getting rocked/dropped. Fury too, but considering it was from a HW, it's more understandable, every 200lb+ man can punch.

So far I think 1 person has come up with a fighter from 118?

btw Caparello didn't drop Kovalev, he fell down when Cap stepped on his shoe, Kovalev has only been down legitimately against Boone early in his career. Boone's KO % is also skewed as he fights short rounds and does have as many losses as he does wins.

Murray is another former top 5 160lber, really struggled against an unknown blown up jmw.

8:57 in he gets rocked by a clean left and stumbles back to the ropes, Rios couldn't miss with his left that fight.

Even at the end of round 3 11:57 Rios lands a clean left, Lemieux looks like he's a bit hurt again as he hops back.

Thurman almost got dropped by collazo who's washed up and not ranked. I can name many other times where unranked fighters hurt top 5 fighters. Unranked Herrera clearly beat garcia as well and was robbed. Joe smith jr at the time was unranked and koed fonfara a top 10 lhw.

Reaching really hard with collazo almost dropping Thurman, he landed some power shots but in no point in that fight was Thurman almost dropped stop it.

Collazo still hits harder than those guys 44% KO ratio and is a former champion.

Smith was 22-1 with a 79% KO ratio, and proved himself yet again against Hopkins.

Herrera arguably won a lot of fights, he was underrated. His resume is solid and he's a natural jmw, like Mora.

Don't forget, Sergio Mora is a blown up jmw, even worse. Rios, you can just tell by his skill set he seriously lacks polish and is a journeyman.
