He is 28 years old and no longer growing. He is too small to beat the best at 154. It's not how many different weight classes you can win a belt in that determines how good a boxer is. It's how good you are a your best weight class that matters. Gamboa hurt him. I think Spence would knock Crawford out at 147 or 154. I think Spence is a better fighter than Crawford in every way. Crawford hasn't defeated Pacquiao yet. I am not sure he could beat Pacquiao right now.

That sounds nice on paper, but in reality he has 1 credible win on his resume. Titles are handed out like candy these days, I don't take all these paper belts that seriously.

Spence knocks him out. I mean little Gamboa hurt him for crying out loud.

That's just your opinion. He established the lineage in each weight class he's been in. Which means he had to fight the best fighter in his weight class to do it.

Also if you don't think a stoppage win over an undefeated mini-tank on PEDs named Gamboa is a credible win then you've set your expectations way too high.

At 154 after the charlos and canelo move up to 160 there will be a vacuum that will encourage the 147 titlists to move up so he will just be in contention with the same fighters + lara.
terence crawford, the fantasy fight king. Isnt it about time he actually fought someone who can fight back?

That's what I'm talking about, it should mean that, but it doesn't. Not in today's era.

I think Gamboa is a quality fighter, but he's at least two weight classes smaller than Crawford naturally. It would be like giving Golovkin credit for beating Brook. Plus he's very inactive.

Very possible, he's extremely talented. Can't wait to see him thrown into the WW mix.
