You know what. Why not? This is an easy fight for Pacman and would make some good dough because of Paulie's antics and his history of hate/jelousy of Pacquiao. Paulie could be a stay vusy fight for the bigger fight for Crawford.
Paulie Malinaggi vs Pacquiao.

If you would have told me 5 years ago that one day I'd be saying Malinaggi would be a much better opponent than who he's fighting I would have laughed. But yeah, sadly Paulie wouldn't be bad at this sad point. -
They are looking for a mismatch. Then Paulie good give it to them. They wanted the risk as small as possible to build up the Crawford fight or something. We all know Arum is just waiting for it to build up.Comment

Pacquiao is no longer wrecking guys with his power, Pacquiao seems to be far more reliant on simply landing his left, and Paulie Malignaggi walks into any fight with a boxing brain that's worlds beyond what Pacquiao walks in with.
You add that Paulie Malignaggi likely walks into the fight with the physical advantages (height/reach/size), and you're looking at a fight that has all the makings for a "banana peel".
The judging will be the judging (depending on where they stage the fight, there's no doubt that Arum will do everything in his power to get judges who seem to score Pacquiao's style favorably), but it's very unlikely that Pacquiao ends up looking good in the fight.Comment

Even though Paulie is the typical opponent for "post ped" Manny - he would need to sign to top rank first.
Horn/burns would do less numbers but ultimately be more profitable for Arum.Comment
