Much too risky, because Porter will bring the fight to Manny and Manny just doesn't fight aggressive enough to really keep Porter off him. Plus Porter is just so big and physical compared to Manny that he could get rag dolled.

Porter is also tricky to look good against even if Manny can get the job done.


Better for Manny (or any boxer) to look like a world beater against sub par opposition that look iffy against good opposition.

If Arum is going to put Pac in with a Haymon fighter he wont put him in with someone like porter, whats the point? Arum is in the business of money, Porter has no pull he isnt a champion and he is with Haymon. Horn is with Arum and Burns has a UK audience plus both are winnable for Pac.

Porter is one of those fighters will is stuck in a rock and a hardplace he doesnt have drawing power and he is a tough out.

Good solid FIGHT, but Caveman Porter wins!

He'll be on Pac from round 1 and won't let up or give an inch!

Porter also has improved his jab which is what he'll need if he ever faces guys like Brook or Thurman again and definitely would need it against Pacman!
