Let's assume TBE hasn't retired yet.

Tell me the reasons why TBE won't fight Crawford.

latinos - mainly puerto ricans in this instance are still boxings biggest ppv audience in the usa.

cotto kirkland will likely hit 6 figures

I never got why people dissect what Floyd does so hard, yet have guys like Crawford in a hypothetical match up and act as if Floyd wouldn't dismantle Terence. I like him as a fighter, but he would get lit up vs Floyd. Switching southpaw wouldn't do anything. Leaving his chin up in the air too long wouldn't help him either. He is not Hank Lundy, he would tag Bud all night long and keep him at bay.

I never blame fighters in general for avoiding Lara/Rigo/Crawford/etc type of fighters. They look good fighting small and cab driver types, but almost take no risk when fighting top level opponents. They run, hug, survive, run... Plus the money is just not there to begin with. You're basically staking too much out of a few bucks. No I didn't care that Mayweather didn't fight Lara, although that fight would have been a chess match that so-called fans of the science would have loved to see. Sadly I never saw them pushed for it.
