    If an agreement can be made on the weight, Juan Manuel Marquez would still be very interested with a retirement fight against Miguel Angel Cotto. Last year, the two boxers were in serious discussions to make the fight for the fall. For than anything else, they were unable to overcome the obstacle of weight. Cotto was reportedly requesting a catch-weight of 150-pounds, which Marquez believed was too much of a disadvantage. Marquez stood firm on staging the fight at no higher than the welterweight limit of 147-pounds.

              Marquez is one of the most annoying boxers. I find him overrated too, people love counter punchers. He was never the aggressor in his bog fights, always landed less powerful counter punches.

                  He should cash out against pacquioa there is way more money in that fight.

                  Or he knows every knows he was juiced up on steroids the last time they fought and can't get a victory without it.

                          Marquez can't beat anyone in the top 10 at 147...
                          Don't think he can beat fringe top 10 guys like Lamont Peterson or Felix Diaz. He can try and get a 147 belt against Brook...But he'd get wrecked.

                          IMO, His best bet would be a fight against
