Comments Thread For: Mayweather Promotions CEO: Jack Will Knock Out James DeGale!

Leonard Ellerbe doesn't just think Badou Jack will beat James DeGale. Mayweather Promotions' chief executive officer expects Jack to win by knockout January 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. London's DeGale (23-1, 14 KOs) has lost only a 12-round majority decision to English rival George Groves (25-3, 18 KOs) in May 2011.

Degale is quick. Jack needs to attack the body to win. (TMT)

I think Jack will win this fight but I doubt it will be by KO. I admit Jack is a better fighter than I thought he was. I expected him to be another J'Leon or Ishe type fighter. Badou got skills

This has 12 rounds written all over it. Neither are prolific KO artists. DeGale is slippery. Jack is resistant. Safest bet is a 12 round decision for whoever you favor.

Mr Jack was destroyed by some Asian boxer in the first round of Olympics while Mr Degale went on to win a Gold medal in Olympics. That says all.

Degale fighting away from home a disadvantage if it goes to judges?
