Both guys made weight by the way...
    Mundine 166.5
    Green 167.25
he may not have achieved much, but there aren't many boxers out there who have became world champions with only a couple years of boxing....if you don't know, he was a world class rugby league player and then he turned to boxing...and became world champion....very very impressive!

Yeh mate I'm a Melbourne boy.

Thing is, though... the 'world' title he won was only a 'world' title because the WBA appointed Ottke the 'super' champion. Therefore, Mundine was 'world' champion, but 2nd in the WBA rankings. Figure that one out...
It's like Gatti being the WBC champ when Tszyu was the 'emeritorious' champ or whatever - Tszyu was the real world champ, not Gatti.

yes mate, i'm a melbourne boy also..........

yes we know his title was the wba regular title, but to his credit, he beat a top contender for it!.....also, he fought ottke in his 10th or 11th pro fight and actually had no sparring partners for this fight and he actually had ottke behind on points, until ottke's fluke ko!...

The fight atmosphere alone will be thrilling and electric, events like this are oh so rare-I wish I could watch it live!

It sounds like a U pickem fight-but Im rooting for Danny Green!

I am Hoping for a close fight, i think Mundine has the speed and power to overwhelm Danny Green, but Green's Chin is quite good and Mundines isnt the best.

I am Going out on a limb here and saying if it goes the distance green will win he has the heart to, but i think mundine will get the stoppage late

sorry mate, mundine's chin is granite...he stood up and took Kessler's best shots....his KO loss was to the temple.

He is only susceptible to flash knockdownds sometimes due to his balance, but I can't see Green doing on as he is too slow and robotic.........

It'll be a good fight and to be honest, I want both to win......
