I love his punch volume and his obvious work ethic, but he is an odd fighter and tends to smother himself. I think Bradley or Pac schools him but Porter is competitive with any of the non Top Rank welters.

When was the last time Bradley schooled a decent fighter?

Pacman isn't the monster he was 7-8 years ago and Porter isn't Jessie Vargas, Chris Algieri or Brandon Rios, he comes to win. I would still favour Pacman but Porter would give him all he can handle.

This what kills me with these "new jacks!" You know Brook is going to fight Khan, and you know Thurman is fighting Garcia. That eliminates those 3 champs (Brook, Thurman & Garcia). So which belts would be available at this moment? WBO and IBF (since Brook has to vacate to fight Khan). Why not come out and say "I want Pacquiao," or "I want Errol Spence Jr.!" You calling for Brook, but you're probably fighting Berto!

As one dimensional Porter and Berto are, i think that would be a great fight of not elite fighters. I would pick Porter to win that one but just because it´s against Berto. Any pure boxer beats Porter.

i had the fight a draw when i scored it. Was pretty surprised at how many people had brook winning clearly although i appreciate im in the minority with my scorecard. So i'd be happy to see a rematch, porter is one hell of an underrated fighter on here.

It's a decent co-feature. It should've been on the undercard of Lara vs. Foreman! Maybe it will be on the undercard of Errol Spence Jr.'s title bout!

For some reason I always think of Porter as the bull in the fight. I'm with him if he's looking at a plodder, but runners and fancy Dans make him look crude (I said look). If anything, I would call his style Mexican. Jabbing isn't his strong suit and he's not boxing circles around anybody.

Berto - one deminsional??? Berto is one of the most explosive fighters @ 147 !!!Speed with combinations and power... Errol Spence jr, Thurman, berto, Porter, Khan, Brook, Sammy Vasquez, danny Garcia, PAC, Marquez, Peterson, that's 12 off the top of my head - get your study on - welterweight is on notice, Haymon put all of his fighters on blast and told them if they want to continue to earn then they have to fight each other
