wbc let bute use his name to turn it into an eliminator bout...it wouldnt be boxing without a little corruption.

....and why tf do ppl mention beterbiev for adonis more than beterbiev mentions adonis??

yall gotta stop that ****..he dont want it
    June 21, 2016:

Hot light heavyweight contender Artur Beterbiev (10-0, 10 KOs) is hungry world a title - and he doesn't care if he lands WBC champion Adonis Stevenson or IBF/WBA/WBO champion Sergey Kovalev (29-0-1, 26 KOs)...

A fight with Stevenson might be easier to make. They are both promoted by Yvon Michel of GYM and managed by boxing power broker Al Haymon.

“My career goal is to be the champion of the world,” Beterbiev said to PBC. “Whether it’s Sergey Kovalev or Adonis Stevenson, I don’t care who I have to fight to win it."

As usual it's their promoter who doesn't want it! They have the same promoter in Canada! Actually, I think the train in the same gym!

Cut your fingers off and do us a favor, go to another forum. Stevenson is a damn good fighter, A-side why do you think there is so much outrage for the level of opposition he is facing?!!Joe Smith is what B-Hop said he was "a common man." He landed an overhand right with his head down not even looking against fonfora and won..and he beat an ancient, ancient man in the world of boxing, no surprise there..Stevenson is a ***** for taking this fight. Joe is a joe..Stevenson should only fight bertebieve, kova, ward, hell I'll even say Pascal, but to call out Joe Smith like he is now the man at 175 is ridiculous.

adonis not having a chin is one of the most overstated myths in professional boxing...

          bellew: never wobbled
          cloud: never wobbled
fonfara: goes down in a round he's dead tired in, gets back up takes the same shots without wobbling, dominates the next round by adjusting to a nasty inside/pressure fighting game

williams jr: spike's broadcast team thought adonis was hurt and .05 seconds later williams was taking something nasty that hurt him..literally

bika hit him and he stuck his tongue out and screamed like "do it again" lol

one bad night with one ko loss and ppl act like the man is out her groves'ing every time a punch touches him..he even got up from that knockdown and got waved off...that same guy put kov down 3 times or more, and ward down nastily as well

adonis is a complete beast..PERIOD..your favorite fighter could learn a thing or two

AN JOE WOULD BEAT TF OUT OF PASCAL RIGHT NOW LOL

pascal does have a punchers chance but the first time he gets hit his hands stay in his pocket..he's done

JOE EARNED HIS SHOT BRO! if he doesnt get this fight he'll get another big one..and ppl will be braggin about someone's win over him..so why shouldnt stevenson be the person saying i beat the guy that could have easily been 2016 FOTY

Agreed with you. People are biased because of Adonis lack of opponent. I agree he took the easy path.. but he's still a hell of a fighter, whatever haters are saying..

well criticize bhop for running to hbo when adonis left hbo for a better showtime deal and specifically to take his 2 belts...criticize duva and kovaduck for leaving a purse bid as a free agent and just outright rejecting the next one...

bika was a chmp just before adonis fought him
williams jr was more game af and ko puncher..
he's giving the bst he can give in the division while the 2 biggest guys found the way out of fights with him..

hell i rather see willias jr bring it than chillemba try to move and win with no success

my point exactly...a challenger i guess u can call him that..he's really a prospect that hasnt stepped up at all except in the minds of ppl who just go nuts over his ko power...but back to it... a challenger said something about a champion 6 months ago and been quiet mouse still mouse since

with all this pssy "lara needs to send an offer" bs going on in boxing i'm shocked to see ppl sticking up for a challenger who doesnt even twitter call out or interview call out...not to mention lara's resume poops on beterbievs...DOUBLE STANDARDS ARE AMAZING

joe smith ejecting mf's out the ring and putting mf's under turnbuckles but HE'S TOO EASY FOR SUPERMAN! the truth always comes out...

I think they should put extra padding outside of the ring when they fight.
