I would like to see this fight happen, why not try and unify.

the big issue your comment stays is "WAT IS THE POINT IN WINNING"LOL. Who else is Salido going to fight to get a good pay day?
People like to comment how Loma is not a draw, but they want his opponents to get million dollar pay days. How does that make any sense?
Salido got 50K for Vargas. He accepted that. He is probably getting much more for Loma. He'll probably make at least 300k for a Loma rematch. I think he'll make more. Just because the rematch would sell more than a Walters fight
Or he can keep accepting 50K for a Vargas fight that will probably not happen until at least late this year.
The funny thing is that people were blaming Loma for Salido making that much for Vargas.
Corrales probably got some good money for the Uchiyama fights but the HBO offer was probably better. We don't really know unless we know how much he made for the Uchiyama fights and how much he'll get offered for the Loma fight.
I remember hearing that Corrales didn't make that much for the first Uchiyama fight.
if u beat a guy he's your b1tch..salido's team said they would not ask a terribly high amount just wat he's worth..he's got a win over loma, just got out the foty, and he's rightfully the wbo and wbc and ring champ
look boxing has not sanctity if you do not reward winner...look at bradley..no matter who he beats it'll only be on hbo and he'll only make 2 million....but he's cool with that...bc he can go lose to many for triple that and nearly double he yearly earnings in one night....IT TAKES AWAY FROM COMPETITION when winners are not rewarded
all i can say is loma should have won..if the truth is a lowball offer like i'm hearing it's a duck for me..Comment

Where are you hearing this from? Is it a voice in your head? Cause that's not what Salido and his manager saythe big issue your comment stays is "WAT IS THE POINT IN WINNING"

from a person that talks a lot of boxing business i asked on twitter if he wants to go in on with his source more..until responds to that we'll be seeing..salido and his manager basically said we are looking in aonther direction nothing more nothing less
they said they would start discussing the number and they stopped...im inclined to believe that is where the issues lies
loma has a rep for wanting huge A side money while salido has a rep for fighting anyone...1 plus 1plus one equals 2...but i did try to do more diggingComment

Lomachenko won the first fight. He landed more and made Salido's aggression ineffective. Salido's most effective shots were low blows. Not to mention how they didn't deduct any points from Salido for all the low blows and headbutts. People just didn't want to see Loma make history.the big issue your comment stays is "WAT IS THE POINT IN WINNING"

If Salido and his team are confident they did in fact win that first fight then why not beat him again?
Salido is not going to make more money fighting anyone else.
At this point HBO is behind Lomachenko not Salido. Lomachenko is the one that will get the HBO TV spots, whether people like it or not, Salido will not. And I hope HBO starts putting pressure on Salido.
Salido made 50K for Vargas. He will easily make more for the Loma rematch, so what's the problem?
You "beat" him once, so beat him again. That would open up more doors for Salido. Beating Lomachenko again will get him even more pay days, but nope he prefers to wait almost a year to get another 50K pay day against Vargas (and that's if Vargas beats Berchelt and then the winner of Miura/Roman)
By the way, why did you ignore that link?
It looks like Walters got paid 550K after all. What do you have to say about that?
You probably don't like that because now you can't complain about it.
Walters got low-balled even though that was his highest pay day. How does that make any sense?Comment

loma didnt win that fight..and im passed watlers..my verdict is politics ruined that figh tand forced a layoff..it ruined the credit of the winner..it's done and both hav to move past it with more to prove...nothing will change my mind on that bc loma is not a A side to walters and the numbers proved it..yet he still demaned a side money and throw out a PR offer after ppl bashed his BS A sided-nessLomachenko won the first fight. Lomachenko did win that fight. Based on how fights are scored he did win, but like I said, there was certain people that didn't want to see him win.loma didnt win that fight..and im passed watlers..my verdict is politics ruined that figh tand forced a layoff..it ruined the credit of the winner..it's done and both hav to move past it with more to prove...nothing will change my mind on that bc loma is not a A side to walters and the numbers proved it..yet he still demaned a side money and throw out a PR offer after ppl bashed his BS A sided-ness
Even the fans and media didn't want to see him win. There are people that admit that they are glad he lost because they saw it as disrespectful and arrogant.
But like I said, if Salido and his team are so confident that they won the first fight and they have the "blueprint," as Salido's shady manager, Sean Gibbons, has put it, then why not beat him again?
If they were to win a rematch that would guarantee a few more good pay days for Salido. Yet they want to wait to potentially face Vargas for 50K.
And I'm confident Vargas would take a Lomachenko fight over a Salido fight, because he'll make more money facing for Lomachenko. And a Loma fight won't be as hard on his body as a Salido rematch would. Lomachenko has HBO's backing so there will be a bigger pay day waiting for Vargas to fight Lomachenko than there will be to rematch Salido.
Salido is in a lose situation if he doesn't want to fight Loma next.
Walters should have taken the fight when he was first offered the fight, but he didn't. Not Lomachenko's fault. That's all on Walters.
Walters made his career high pay, so how was he low-balled?
The way Walters fought many people don't even think he deserves 300K and they don't want to see him back.
I like Walters so I do want to see him back, but there is not guarantee that HBO brings him back now.
Honestly, you just make me laugh.Comment
