    Cotto vs Hatton trilogy?

I'm pretty sure that im not the only one that would be estatic if this match up ever happened at 140. I think event he hatton haters would like to see this one.

But what i was wondering, is if anyone thinks that this fight has trilogy and fight of the year potential. I absolutely love inside wars like castillo vs carrales. This would be a much better inside fight then even that fight, because these are pure inside fighters we are talking about.

Especially Hatton. At 140, fighting on the inside is what he lives off of. Cotto could definetly roll with hatton at his style but it would be tricky.

If during this fight, Cotto and hatton both go down sometime during the fight, then i see this one going for fight of the year easily. i have no doubt in my mind that this could be another trilogy with Gatti/ward or carrales/castillo stature. If this fights happens, i would pay thousands to go and watch it live.

And do u guys think it would be PPV?

There wouldn't be a hope in hell that it would be a PPV in America. At least if the fight happened tomorrow. See if Cotto and Hatton can grow into bigger names in the U.S.

Of course it would be a PPV, those who say that it isn't or they wouldn't buy it are lying to themselves. I think that IF this fight happens, it will happen at 147.

And of course, Cotto would own that ass.

Wow, am I not surprised someone from Puerto Rico would say that.

Sorry but Cotto isn't a big enough name yet, and neither is Hatton.

Ricky needs to move back down, to be at his best. Cotto and Hatton is bound to happen. Also what about Cotto moving up to 147 I know people say he is struggling to make 140, but given the fact that people question his chin alot at 140 how would it make the jump. Ricky's chin is rock solid and he got wobbled by non puncher.

Cotto is already headlining a PPV for his next fight against Malignaggi.

Ring Magazine has named him most exciting fighter to watch

People love watching Cotto, his style is truly exciting.

The fight would have to be at 147, Cotto is fighting 2 more times at 140, Paulie and then prolly Castillo. Hatton is not on his list for this year. And once Cotto goes up he wont be coming back down. The fight will have to be at 147 which i think will favor Cotto.
And yea i think it should be on PPV live from MSG. **** id order it along with all of Puerto Rico, all of England, and tons of american boxing fans. Cotto by KO.

Experts say Cotto is too drained at 140, hence making him too weak at that weight. Cotto should be fighting at 147. He would carry even more strength into the ring.
