i agree. i don't think hatton will ever be a big PPV star but he will be a star - i guarantee that. like it or lump it, americans love knockouts. hatton just might be the next big thing because he usually knocks his opponent out or puts on a good show. a move back down to 140 would definetly benefit his stock in the US.

U saying his fights are ugly and boring just says to me and everyone else that u havent seen a lot of his fights. which is fine, but please watch him before u call him boring.

But trust me, when this guy puts on a show, its the best show on earth.
Your right i havent seen ALL his fights but ive seen his fights against the sombodys in his resume, Tackie, Tszyu, and Collazo none of those were really the types of fights I would want to watch again.

Watch the Oliveira fight to see what Hatton's usually about.

WIth a good win over a top rank fighter Hatton could become a PPV name. He allready has alot of buzz surounding him. I think he is an exciting fighter and his fight against Collazo was a good watch. He clinched but it wasnt over the top. When ricky would clinch up it was the only break in the action its not like that fight was slow paced or unwatchable.

I don't think he has to be a PPV star on his own yet. The match-ups will help significantly if he can get fights with Cotto, Gatti, Castillo, Corrales or PBF. Fight two of those and he's an American superstar if he wins them.

I think a fight with gatti will automatically seal the deal on capturing his fan base. Hatton is already a star in his own right, there is nothing to stop him from establishing himself as such here but time.

I think Hatton should fight Gatti aswell, even tho Gatti is a warrior Hatton would find this fight alot easier than his past 3 fights.
