Both Klitch and AJ are better than Haye. But if losing this bout will convince Haye to retire (again) and stay there, I guess let him have one last hurrah and send him out as a headliner.

Luis Ortiz is with Matchroom Sport. Anthony Joshua is with Matchroom Sport.

Why are folks so discounting the possibility that Anthony Joshua will make the IBF mandatory defense, with Ortiz being his co-feature as the price for delaying his own WBA mandatory defense?

It's pretty disgraceful that Haye is even being considered. He hasn't fought a relevant fight in years.

Apparently, fighting a blown up Cruiserweight is a springboard to fighting the top Heavyweights.

Clearly in truth all organizations dont want a unified champion which is good and bad ,more top matches can be made. Would rather see Pulev vs Haye and Joshua vs Ortiz ....if Wlad loses would like to see Fury rematch. Parker vs Wilder . .

you can't strip a unified champion for making a unification or another mandatory. so the wlad/aj winner, if they're willing to face both mandatories, should be able to keep both belts.

holyfield went to court in the early 90s when there were clashing mandatories and got a ruling that established the mandatory rotation system. the orgs must take turns enforcing mandatories when there is a unified champion. so you can't strip the wlad/aj winner if they fight the mandatories in the right order.

now if they fight a rematch . . . IBF will strip.
