Seeing your fights was a waste of time, this fool never entertained, never brawled, never boxed, no relevant stuff, in my town thatīs called a waste of time.

I see and don't see Paulie's point.....
You just had Kovalev vs Ward and that should of generated a lot more PPV but it didn't. So you have to work with what you got in this world. So if Chavez Jr. vs Canelo will generate 500K PPV or more then so be it. Let the young men make there money and if it makes the fans intrigued then it is what it is. I know Malinaggi knows the game as well as anyone but I would tell him the same thing I had to learn. All of us older guys have to adapt to the new norm whether it makes sense or not in this world.

This fight I guess needs to be taken for what it is and that its a GREAT FIGHT for Mexico and Mexican boxing fans. But lets be real here, it does nothing for the sport of boxing except liven up some Mexican casuals. <<< this isnt Canelo and Jr's fault though, this has been boxings practice for the last couple decades now.

It's a money maker fight. I don't have a problem with it, as long as Canelo gets around to fighting Golovkin this year like he said. But he won't, of course.

I feel this is to get Canelo ready for a bigger puncher/bigger frame. chavez Jr. wont make weight and the fight will be even more irrelevant -- Canelo better spark him and let people know he can handle GGG - if this doesnt happen by september he's run out of PPV relevant foes

Crazy thing is I agree, I do think it's a pointless fight but people will buy it. You have a Jr. MW maybe MW at best fight a LHW or SMW at best. It really is a pointless fight but since both have name and Mexican heritage people will buy it.
