Other than selling himself for a shot at anyone, I agree 100% with him!
The titles are given away and the opponents are all picked
void of real contender competition.
You don't see number 5 challenging and fighting number 3!! You see the Sergio's, Cotto's and Canelo's not accepting the challenge to unify the 160 pound belts.

There is a huge difference in how the challengers and top contenders are established these days. Even the lower top ten guys hardly fight more than twice in a year! That's a main reason why you don't see a huge jump in skills with the current fighters they don't work at their craft!

I give Tarver a pass, I wouldn't mind seeing him in with one of the young up and comers, is he a trial horse or are they side stepping him?

He failed at 175 and at cruiserweight and he is grossly overweight and slow as molasses and not much of a fighter at heavyweight. He throws about 15 punches a round. Every guy he is ripping would easily beat him. Maybe he is broke and looking for a pay day. Let him fight Briggs or Toney.
