Other than selling himself for a shot at anyone, I agree 100% with him!
The titles are given away and the opponents are all picked
void of real contender competition.
You don't see number 5 challenging and fighting number 3!! You see the Sergio's, Cotto's and Canelo's not accepting the challenge to unify the 160 pound belts.
There is a huge difference in how the challengers and top contenders are established these days. Even the lower top ten guys hardly fight more than twice in a year! That's a main reason why you don't see a huge jump in skills with the current fighters they don't work at their craft!
I give Tarver a pass, I wouldn't mind seeing him in with one of the young up and comers, is he a trial horse or are they side stepping him?

I didn't bother to watch. I am guessing Tarver is saying they are all afraid to fight him and he should be the heavyweight champ of the world. Tarver is washed up and he is no ageless Hopkins. He failed at 175 and at cruiserweight and he is grossly overweight and slow as molasses and not much of a fighter at heavyweight. He throws about 15 punches a round. Every guy he is ripping would easily beat him. Maybe he is broke and looking for a pay day. Let him fight Briggs or Toney.Comment
