Making excuses for everything in his career. This is a guy who fought Jason Gavern after 30 fights. You will defend this ducker to the death after he takes out his 50th lower tier opponent. I think Wilder is a good fighter i have him top 5 of the division based on that big right hand. But right now he's a threat to nobody. Blaming Povetkin and a recent injury for everything is not what champions do. He did have about 35 opportunities to fight a top 10 before that. Stiverne... eh maybe top 10 but Joshua and Parker putting Wilder to shame with their approach of taking challenges. Enjoy the inevitable beat down of another bum that nobody cares about

And who has Parker fought? Before the Parker fight Ruiz was essentially written off as a McDonalds-junkie headcase who wasn't going anywhere. After the beloved Parker (on NSB) anyway BARELY beats him, he is an ATG who was the second coming of Joe Frazier. And AJ has beat who exactly? Whyte?

Deluded fans who think he's the greatest and is going to clean up the division this year. We will see Wilder beat another lowly ranked opponent with him and his fans celebrate like he just beat Foreman.

I would say Takam is a better fighter than anyone Wilder has fought. AJ nearly fighting same level of opposition as Wilder after his 17th fight and is about to fight Klit. Both Parker and AJ have about half of Wilders fights, much younger and are already stepping up. You want to compare first 30 fights of Wilder to Parker and AJ resume? Go ahead sucker! This isn't about who the better fighter is out of AJ, Parker and Wilder. Point is Wilder wont step up hell he could be the best fighter of all time he has still fought bums!

              You got it!

Jan 1st 2018 will roll around, and we'll be hearing about how Wilder still wants to fight the top guys. After beating 3 or 4 cans this year.

37 fights in, and Wilder's best win is Stiverne.

Parker has just over half the amount of fights, and has two better wins than that.

Joshua has less than half the fights, and has a win at least equal to that.

No matter which way you paint it - a knock on Parker and Joshua's resume thus far, is a bigger knock on Wilder's. He has twice the sample size, and proven less.

It is comical, absolutely comical, that a guy will probably end up having 40 wins under his belt before he actually steps up.

It's no coincidence we're echoing what a huge portion of the boxing World has been saying for a long time. This isn't a witch hunt against Wilder just the reality

Absolutely. The volume of support for Wilder has decreased massively over the last 12 months, it's becoming harder and harder to defend the guy.

I agree, all these world title organizations should merge or something. Maybe we can get that same type if feel from back in the Hagler/Hearns years..but I doubt that will happen though seeing as all of them are greedy af
