I am a Chavez and Golovkin fan but he is wrong here. Golovkin did nothing this year. Lomachenko beat two top dogs in his division and without any controversy or doubt unlike other choices. Lomachenko is fighter of the year...

I think it's the WAY Lomenchecho won. He hardly got touched against ( maybe not great) but two excellent fighters. I have been watching boxing a long time and what he does in the ring is like art. Right in the pocket and hitting and not getting hit. Best yet he isn't cherry picking and looking for catch weights and shot fighters.

Although GGG is one of the greatest middleweights ever. He only had two fights this year but that was not GGG's fault. No one would fight him. They are all ducking him. But I do believe that Lomanchenko should be definitely in the running for fighter of the year along with Crawford.

How can you be a fighter of the year when you didn't fight a single respectable top 10-15 ranked fighter in your weight? Crawford I can understand even though I don't agree but GGG? Chavez has been making a fool out himself a lot lately.
I agree. Not sure how he is able to justify this

                You're a knob
GGG could have fought a donkey and a goat and you'd still think he deserves FOTY

I think you can make a case for GGG beating Canelo without the need to get him in the ring or how he beat a lot of top middleweight contenders without th need to get him in the ring

Have you ever had crazy (like, crazy, crazy) coworker, relative, neighbor, etc who you ask questions to, just because you're entertained by the wild answers they give?
I think this is how reporters must feel about Chavez Sr.
