You highlighted one of the biggest problems on NSB. The very worst and scummy GGG fans will label anybody who is suggested as a GGG opponent a bum when the discussion is about fighting GGG. Now that the fight is signed, they will elevate him as they expect GGG to win.

This isn't surprising. Many of them did the same thing when they were on Manny's bandwagon. Remember how they killed Tim after he got the gift over Manny ? They claimed he was a bum that didn't deserve to be ranked p4p, let alone #3. Then when the rematch was signed and Manny won, they then bragged about Tim being top 3 p4p because it made the win look better.

Hopefully that garbage will stop this year.

Manny got robbed so I completely understand why posters would question his p4p status coming off that robbery. That said, when the same poster then changes course and celebrates the #3 p4p ranking onl when the fight is signed (because they expect a Manny win and want it to mean more) then that is bogus.

Jacobs is already being discredited by NSB's version of the MSM. "Dude had cancer, was laid out by Pirog." No comment on how he has knocked out 13 straight opponents though, took out Quillin in one round. He's on a steady pace to bumtown though. By fight night, he'll be thought of as nothing more than a homeless bum they pulled out of an Uber car hours before the fight.

That's a fairly ignorant statement. There are thousands and thousands of fighters in the world. Middleweight is one of the most prestigious weight classes in the history of boxing. Being the WBA World Middleweight Champion and overall #2 middleweight in the entire world is an incredible accomplishment.
